SUMMARY:Lifelong Learning Session: What Shapes Our Health
DESCRIPTION:Health is influenced by so much more than medical care! Housing\, transportation\, education\, economic stability\, and social connection all play an important role in community health. \nThis two-hour session will introduce older adults to the key findings of the Tri-County Community Health Report\, a collaborative assessment created by local public health agencies\, health systems\, and nonprofit partners. \nParticipants will explore how vital conditions shape health outcomes. We’ll share regional trends\, community voices\, and priority opportunities to strengthen mental health and belonging across Calumet\, Outagamie\, and Winnebago Counties. \nUnited Way Fox Cities is hosting a lifelong learning series in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Lifelong Learning Institute to bring community-based educational opportunities to older adults in the Fox Cities.
