The Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the organization’s financial integrity by managing accounts receivable and payable, administering bi-monthly payroll and related accounting entries, and assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, compliance with policies and regulations, and reliable financial data to support the organization’s mission.
The Accountant collaborates closely with internal teams, including Resource Development, to process campaign pledges, track grants, and support audits and budget preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in accounting systems, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity, and a passion for supporting United Way Fox Cities’ vision of a stronger community.
The 211 Community Connection Navigator is an AmeriCorps member with United Way Fox Cities who helps connect people to vital health and human service resources. This role handles 211 calls, texts, and chats; builds a strong understanding of local and statewide services; and works directly with individuals to remove barriers to accessing basic needs, recovery supports, and overall well-being. The Navigator collaborates with 211 staff and community partners, supports outreach and engagement efforts, and contributes to initiatives that improve access to care and strengthen social determinants of health.
The Diaper Bank Inventory & Operations Specialist is an AmeriCorps member with United Way Fox Cities who supports the Kimberly-Clark Eastern Wisconsin Diaper Bank by strengthening inventory systems and distribution processes. This role works closely with nonprofit partners and volunteers to improve ordering, tracking, and warehouse organization, ensuring diapers, period products, and adult incontinence supplies are distributed efficiently and accurately. The Specialist also assists with pickups and deliveries, supports reporting requirements, and helps expand access to essential basic needs so individuals and families can thrive.
