United Way Fox Cities brings people together to help make our community stronger. One of the ways we do this is through volunteerism – mobilizing the caring power of our community to create lasting change. Whether you want to volunteer once per week or once per year, we can make greater impact together.

As an individual, you can give your time at the Kimberly-Clark Diaper Bank or on a committee. Click on the Committee Opportunities tab page to learn what each committee does to improve lives in the Fox Cities.

Volunteering is an excellent team-building activity that also positively impacts our neighbors! Groups and workplaces can volunteer at the Kimberly-Clark Diaper Bank based on community need and schedule.

Community Impact volunteers work on a team to gain a deeper understanding about key issues in our community (including emerging or unmet needs), identify effective solutions, and strategically invest the funds entrusted to United Way back into the community. This volunteer-driven process has a significant positive impact in the Fox Cities and ensures we fulfill our mission of building a stronger, more caring community for everyone.
A dedicated core of community volunteers who are responsible for contacting CEO’s of companies to thank them for past support and solicit continued support, as well as assisting campaign staff with developing and organizing elements of employee campaigns. These committee members review partner agency audits, management letters, 990 forms, and mid-year reports on an annual basis. Volunteers provide a concise summary of an agency’s financial position to the United Way Impact Areas and act as an advisor to the Impact Areas as needed. This committee has a special requirement for volunteers to be certified public accountants.
